Eric Fifer (new father, which explains his infrequent participation on the list). In any case, the current perl is based on "perl-5.6.1-TRIAL1" -- e.g. the cygwin perl is based on what perl5-porters THEMSELVES consider an experimental release. So, IMO the test designation should not be removed unless Eric syncs up with "perl-5.6.1 (official)". (And I think perl-5.6.2 official has been released, anyway...) AFAIK, the holdup is that Eric is trying to work out the nasty text/binary issues that reappeared in 5.6.1-TRIAL1-cygwin. --Chuck -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
