X-mailer: FoxMail 3.11 Release [cn] Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="GB2312" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit cygwin Hi, I downloaded and installed CygWin. I think it was a successful install. I'm running Win2000, and it appears in my Programs menu, under the folder "Cygnus Solutions" . When I start up CygWin brings up an MSDOS window. But when I run "XWin.exe -screen 0 800x600x8 -whitepixel 255 -blackpixel 0", it appears "_XSERVTransmkdir: Owner of /tmp/.X11-unix should be set to root".I don't know what is the meaning. So I can't run Xwin. I installed CygWin in c:\cygwin\ and when I look in the cygwin folder, there is a /tmp/.X11-unix directory. So how can I do? Oh, Help, help!
