I still plan on investigating this behavior at some point. It would be interesting to see if there was any difference in behavior if you reinstated the O_NOCTTY test because there is now code in cygwin that makes an attempt to do the right thing although I'm not sure that it is 100% correct. cgf -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
