I have a Perl script that calls a DOS executable (vsim) from the BASH shell. The NT environment variable I created is not being seen by BASH or DOS using Cygwin. I created the Variable using the User Environment Variable editor under the Advanced tab of the System Properties. I ended up doing the following to get my Perl script to run: system("cmd set TMP=C:\temp /c vsim -c -do 'cd l:/bbproto/phase8/; do phase2_regress/test.do' "); Anyone have an idea of what needs to be done for Cygwin to see new Environment Variables?
