For example, compiling a simple 10 line program with gcc (gcc small.c -o small), gcc will just hang and my processor usage (using Task Manager) hits 100%. Another example, telnet'ing to localhost (telnet localhost), just after I enter my password, the same thing happens, hangs and the usage hits 100%. I can't CTRL-C out of it, I have to open another shell and `kill -9` it from there. Has anyone else had these difficulties? - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christopher Faylor" To: Sent: Wednesday, April 25, 2001 7:53 PM Subject: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: gcc 2.95.3-4, binutils 20010425-1 > I've made new versions of gcc and binutils available for download. > > The new gcc release fixes a problem where /usr/local/lib was not > being searched by default.
