I'm a novice at NT debugging, so I'd also like explicit instructions. Here's my guess at exactly what you want me to do: 1/ completely remove my present copy of cygwin1.dll from the system, and replace it with the file you email me. 2/ reboot. 3/ run my experiment again. 4/ record something (output from the command window similar to what I emailed in my posting? Dr Watson dump? Something else?) and email it back to you.
