I have followed all steps of /usr/doc/Cygwin/postgres-7.1RC2.README and finally when a client tries to connect the postmaster, i get this on server $ postmaster DEBUG: database system was interrupted at 2001-04-06 16:14:46 DEBUG: CheckPoint record at (0, 1563304) DEBUG: Redo record at (0, 1563304); Undo record at (0, 0); Shutdown TRUE DEBUG: NextTransactionId: 615; NextOid: 18720 DEBUG: database system was not properly shut down; automatic recovery in progre ss... This probably means the backend terminated abnormally before or while processing the request. I downloaded the source distribution, compiled it and installed it. I have exactly the same problem. Does this package really works on windows 2000 ? Any tips ?? -- Pascal Molli Maître de Conférence Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy1 http://www.loria.fr/~molli -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
