You might check your /usr/lib/libc.a. Mine is a soft link to /usr/lib/libcygwin.a commpg AT CSU6220509A /usr/lib $ ls -al libc.a lrw-r--r-- 1 commpg None 22 Mar 9 15:22 libc.a -> libcygwin.a If that's not the problem, then you have gone beyond my ability to help (Without more research on my part, requiring more time).
