However, if the system is German Win9*, one cannot input such characters like '^' there at all, while this is a crucial feature. Similar problems were reported for Win9* with some other non-English keyboards. (the application is question is called GAP, see http://www-gap.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/~gap/) Is there a known solution to this problem? (as expected, everything works fine on WinNT and Win2000) Would it help if it is built with -mno-cygwin option, and uses , etc., stuff?
