Look at the test results page if you want to see how well people made it run on cygwin and other targets. I succeeded in making an excellent basic gcc and g77, but the g++ library apparently remains incompatible with 64-bit alignments, which eliminates my interest there. The maintainers flat out refused to accept updates to make gcc-2.95.3 compatible with current cygwin, so any updates you want are up to you. It should build OK on cygwin B20, if you work around the bugs. David has been doing an excellent job of submitting patches to the main line gcc development, so that's becoming a good alternative for cygwin. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Blythe.Stephen" To: Sent: Monday, March 19, 2001 1:37 AM Subject: FW: gcc-2.95.3 is released. > > Does anyone know if this includes the cygwin patches?
