Everything went fine (which was a real surprise) until I tried to start the manager. I used the startxwin.bat file to start it (no modifications). My problem is this: when I try to type anything into the xterm, it dissapears (the xterm, that is). I also have error messages in my shell complaining about "failed to open input method" and "locale not supported by C library, locale unchanged". I assume that the problem lies with the input (from my keyboard), but I haven't got a clue about resolving it. Please help! Thanks, -|sig|- James Shuttleworth Coventry University, school of MIS (024) 7688 7762 fingerprint: [D978 B9EF 2C57 A69E BAD6 A6AE 5525 9F23 0809 D33B] -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
