However, when downloading and installing to my system, several files were said to be unavailable for download, and my only option was to say "okay". That in itself is not a problem. But, after cygwin is apparently installed, and I set up my path correctly to the cygwin\bin directory, I run make.exe in the xerces top directory and I get the following error: The dynamic line library cygwin1.dll could not be found in the specified path c:\cygwin\bin;...etc... Then I did a file search and there is no file cygwin1.dll on my computer. I assume that cygwin.dll was one of the files that I was unable to download. Or I'm doing something else wrong. I've never used cygwin before. Can someone please give me a tip or two. I'd appreciate it.
