I have downloaded the latest version of Cygwin. It does a great job! But I have troubles porting a serial connection tool from Unix, using the standard 'open', 'read', 'write' and the 'termios' API. I have tested almost all kind of terminal settings, they match their counterpart on Unix except that I can write to the serial device but *not read* from it: the 'read' call blocks and never returns whatever I may send on the line. I am using Win98 and the latest cygwin. My serial ports are working fine under Linux, but I am not a Windows specialist... Could anyone send me a piece of working code with validated terminal settings, so that I could compare with mine? Thanks! Sylvain ------------------- L'e-mail gratuit pas comme les autres.
