BTW, using "c:david" is a bit dangerous on cygwin: either your current directory is c:/some/thing and you meant c:/some/thing/david/adv/roy, then just say "david/adv/roy", or say explicitely "c:/david/adv/roy"; cygwin has no per-drive current directory, as it si an UNIX compatibility layer.
