When I try to use ssh I get the following: $ ssh -v ecarter AT eee DOT uci DOT edu SSH Version OpenSSH_2.3.0p1, protocol versi Compiled with SSL (0x0090581f). debug: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh_ debug: Applying options for * debug: Seeding random number generator debug: ssh_connect: getuid 500 geteuid 500 debug: Connecting to eee.uci.edu [128.200.2 debug: Seeding random number generator debug: Allocated local port 931. debug: connect: Invalid argument debug: Trying again... debug: Connecting to eee.uci.edu [128.200.2 debug: Allocated local port 886. debug: connect: Invalid argument debug: Trying again... debug: Connecting to eee.uci.edu [128.200.2 debug: Allocated local port 743. debug: connect: Invalid argument debug: Trying again... debug: Connecting to eee.uci.edu [128.200.2 debug: Allocated local port 946. debug: connect: Invalid argument Secure connection to eee.uci.edu refused. What's all this connect: Invalid argument? I get the same kind of errors with telnet, ftp, etc. However, I can use ping. I'm stumped.. Could someone enlighten me? --eric -- Want to unsubscribe from this list? Check out: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
