The memory could not be written. Further, stderr says (twice) "conflicting versions of cygwin1.dll detected. Use only the most recent version" And then says 0 [main] bash 218 sync_with_child: child 22(0x170) died before initialization with status code 0xC0000005 19899 [main] bash 218 sync_with_child: *** child state waiting for longjmp bash: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable. I only have one copy of cygwin1.dll (all other "copies" are renamed to "cygwin1.dll-1.1.7" etc. I did reboot before trying this.
