However, you should try this: 1) make sure you did 'rpm --initdb' before anything else 2) 'mount -s -b --change-cygdrive-prefix cygdrive' (this will force /cygdrive/... stuff to be accessed binmode -- helpful if you happen to have a 'TEMP' variable in your environment set to something *other* than D:\tmp) --Chuck Reid Thompson wrote: > > I am having a problem getting rpm to work on my cygwin installation.
