I ran "ftp localhost". All I got is the following: $ ftp localhost Connected to ntcalvc.ardentsoftware.com. 421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection ftp> I don't know what else is needed in order to let inetd functions. This is a fresh installation - meaning no old version of inetd running on my PC. Here is the output of "mount" command: $ mount Device Directory Type Flags c:\cygwin\bin /usr/bin system binmode c:\cygwin\lib /usr/lib system binmode c:\cygwin / system binmode Do you guys have any ideas? Thanks. Regards, -Junwu Cao -- Want to unsubscribe from this list? Send a message to cygwin-unsubscribe AT sourceware DOT cygnus DOT com
