I looked to the linux serial programming howto but I don't know whether I can port the exaples as is. For example in this howto document there is a definition like this: #define MODEMDEVICE "/dev/ttyS1" Is this definition equal to windows, have I replace the string in question marks to com1 or com2 or are the string free form? Maybe someone can send me a code example how to control the serial interface with C/C++ and use of teh libc.
