In porting our Unix applications to NT we use the Pro*C compiler from oracle. Oracle provides to .lib files to link with depending on whether you use MSVC or Borland. Can I use either of these to link with under Cygwin, and if so how. Which one should I use? Do I need to turn it into some kind of Lib.a, or is there a way to specify linking to .lib files directly? both .lib versions seem to reference the same .dll: sqllib18.dll Thanks in advance Darius Clynes Software Engineer European Commission Rue De Mot 24 Brussels, 1040 Belgium Office tel: +32 2 2962441 fax: +32 2 2966025 Cell phone: +32 476 218850 -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
