This is easy to solve: Just read the README! > It contains some surprising facts... Which README ? I just downloaded the compiled version, not the source. The only hint a found was in the announcement on the openssh mailing list. And, sure there is a section about that. But I didn't understand it right. Now I think I know what it means. It says that RSA authorization works just for the one and only user starting this program. Will it work if I use a local account for the service, too ? >> o I can't use input redirection, >> neither on NT like: more > nor on a Linux client, like: ssh -l user NTBox > The result is on NT: more hangs >> on Linux: there is no output returned, not even if I do an output >> redirection, too. > > No problem here. Will it be solved with the update to 1.1.2 ? If not, can you send me more info about your setup, esp. the CYGWIN environment variable ? In my setup the CYGWIN variable is unset. >> I am using cygwin-1.1.1. > Don't use 1.1.1, please update to 1.1.2 since 1.1.1 has a >small but nifty binmode/textmode bug ;-) OK. Yes and this is not that inconvenient as long as the answers are send to the list and this account. I am subscribe to the list on another account, anyway, so I'll receive all the other mails as well.
