I'm running cygwin on Win98 SE and I wonder if I shouldn't try to make = in work on NT or w2k. I can't get the inetd daemon to start=20 whitout
displaying the following error messages = for every=20 service contained in the inetd.conf file:
"bind failed on <service> = The descriptor=20 is a file, not a socket"
 
I've checked and re-checked my settings = (path=20 order, latest "official" binaries, mount points, etc.)
and all seems to be ok.
 
I'm running cygwin on Win98 SE and I = wonder if I=20 shouldn't try to make in work on NT or w2k.
 
But anyway, if someone has an answer, = it would be=20 greatly appreciated...
