Are you in a TZ that uses Daylight Savings Time? Refer to this previous post from this list: http://sourceware.cygnus.com/ml/cygwin/1999-10/msg00132.html -Cal -----Original Message----- From: Karl Eisenhofer [mailto:karl AT stage2i DOT com] Sent: Monday, October 11, 1999 1:43 PM To: cygwin AT sourceware DOT cygnus DOT com Subject: bash time incorrect? I have several systems running at my site wherein the times reported from bash (and the date program) are 1 hour different from the actual time. For example a file created as redirect from bash will have a reported time (from ls) one hour earlier than the time reported from windows explorer on the same file. It seems as though bash is setting the time correctly but reporting the time incorrectly. Has anyone had any experience with this problem? Thanks Karl -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
