You've obviously an incorrect value for the "/" mount point entry. If you're using mount from BASH you need to do `mount c:\\cygnus\\cygwin-b20 /'. However, you need to first umount /. To effectively do this you need to combine both umount and mount within the same child execution. To do this you do `umount / && mount c:\\cygnus\\cygwin-b20 /'.
