It seems that certain things I am pretty sure of: 1) /dev/tty0 2) /dev/nul I can not write to /dev/console or `ln -s /dev/tty0 /dev/console' and then write to it :( I created a /dev subdir but it shows no files. Is there a list of the built-in device names and major, minor codes that I can use? such as /dev/empty or whatever... Thanks in advance to all. In His mercy, W.
