Date: Mon, 12 Jul 1999 17:18:46 -0400 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.2232.9) Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Hi, I seem to be having a problem. I'm using cygwin B20. When I invoke a tcl interactive shell, and do this: % set test {"This is a test."} % exec echo $test I get this: "This is a test.\ Under unix, I get the expected behaviour: "This is a test." Can anyone explain what the problem is, or what I'm doing wrong? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mike. --- Michael Kuhl PixStream Incorporated Sr. Test Designer 180 Columbia Street West mkuhl AT pixstream DOT com Waterloo, ON (519) 884-4196 X2286 N2L 3L3 (519) 884-5949 (FAX) http://www.pixstream.com -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
