Then I replaced die cygwin1.dll as described in the README-files and created the recommended directory-structure. The bash and most other tools ork well. Then I wanted to build a small c-programm (like "Hello World"). Compiling was no problem, the .o-file was created. But I could not link it. I used "gcc test.o -o test.exe" and the command-prompt never returns. When killing the process by typing "ctrl-c" I got the following error-message: "/home/noer/src/b20/comp-tools/devo/gcc/gcc.c:2570: Internal compiler error in function execute" I didnīt find any hint in the faq. Does anybody have an idea, what is wrong and how I could solve the problem? I have NT4.0 SP4 running. Any hint could be a great help to me...
