When I use cygnus.bat to open a bash shell, I have no difficulty accessing Samba drives, and they show up as such in cygcheck -s: h:\ net Samba 4063Mb 0% CP UN starksb p:\ net Samba 4063Mb 0% CP UN public_html But if I telnet into this workstation, I cannot access them. I consistently get "permission denied" errors, and output from cygcheck -s looks like this: h:\ net N/A N/A p:\ net N/A N/A Is there any way to fix this? I suspect an authentication problem with the Samba server. I'm happy to supply more details, if anyone thinks they can help.
