When I was building dev-src this past weekend, I recieved the same error when I used the ECGS 1.1.1 binaries I downloaded and installed. Just for the heck of it, I reinstalled the original B20.1. The problem went away. I still haven't reinstalled ECGS yet, for that reason. Of course, after that I had all the build problems normal for win 95 until I downloaded the 1/15/99 snapshot ( Thanks !! ) John Fortin fortinj AT ibm DOT net Colman Curtin wrote: > >i tried to compile CILK ( http://supertech.lcs.mit.edu/cilk/ ) > >and i got this error message: > > > >checking for ld used by GCC... no > >configure: error: no acceptable ld found in $PATH > search the mail archives as there was a problem like this reported within > the past 2 months. > its to do with cygnus ld returning a win32 style path which confuses > configure. > rgds, > > Colman Curtin Software Team Leader > *Trintech - The Secure Way to Pay* > Trintech Technologies Ltd, > South County Business Park, > Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. > Tel: +353-1-207-4000 > Fax: +353-1-207-4015 > mailto:colman DOT curtin AT trintech DOT com > http://www.trintech.com/ > > If Presidents don't do it to their wives, they do it to the > country. > > Mel Brooks > > > -- > Want to unsubscribe from this list? > Send a message to cygwin-unsubscribe AT sourceware DOT cygnus DOT com --------------ECB8642D5FB70F9B325C1353 Content-Type: text/plain; charset= -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
