From: nprager AT tivoli DOT com (Neal Prager) Subject: how to prevent bash from opening a window? 1 Feb 1999 08:54:36 -0800 Message-ID: <36B5D392.DAEADA48.cygnus.gnu-win32@tivoli.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com On windows NT, I'm exec'ing bash from a java program to run a shell script. By default, bash opens a window on the screen, which flashes momentarily while the shell script completes. This is undesirable behavior. Is there a flag or environment variable I can pass to bash which prevents this window from appearing?
