From: andre DOT lasslop AT vs DOT dasa DOT de (DASA) Subject: B20.1 , NT 4.0 , SP3 : Serial IO attributes 25 Jan 1999 02:01:16 -0800 Message-ID: <01BE4830.B9CA8540.cygnus.gnu-win32@lasan.vs.dasa.de> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit To: "'gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com'" I supposed opening a serial I/O interface, e.g. via 'open ("/dev/com1", ...)' or 'open ("COM1", ...)', initializes the interface with the attributes selected with the setup window. But the driver is always set to any standard attributes. Why ? Is there any possibility to access the settings made with the NT SIO system setup window ?
