Hi,

this is an announcement for out latest two ports of the ncftp-2.4.3 and
ncftp-3.0beta16 ftp clients to the Cygwin environment.

     NcFTP
     -------

     - what is it?
       - a very easy-to-use ftp client

     - system
       - Windows 95/98, Windows NT

     - preliminaries
       - you need a clean install of the following libs
         termcap, curses, ncurses, readline

     - configure
       - yes

     - make
       - works out of the box

     - make install
       - works out of the box

     - package availability
       - on http://www-public.rz.uni-duesseldorf.de/
       - in ~tolj/dist/ports/ncftp
       - as ncftp-2.4.3-cygwin.tar.bz2 and
ncftp-3.0beta16-cygwin.tar.bz2

     - note
       - not tested very much, but at least the main transfer
         operations "get" and "put" are working well
