From: jlj AT cfdrc DOT com (Lyle Johnson) Subject: Bug for date --utc 9 Dec 1998 13:52:13 -0800 Message-ID: <366E911C.A4C40EBC.cygnus.gnu-win32@cfdrc.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com I have just downloaded the latest drop (vb20.1) and this problem is still present. The "date" command always returns the local time, even if you use the --utc flag which should return the universal time. This has become a problem for us since we use CVS in a mixed Windows & Unix environment. When I check in files from my Windows NT box, CVS attempts to stamp them with the universal time but instead gets the local time (which is six hours off). - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
