Hi N8TM, I have a directory structure which works nice from the users point of view when working with two different versions of the cygwin package. I have the structure documented on my webpage under "My Favored Directory Structure" under "Personal Reflections". All I have to do to switch between the two versions is change the mount for root. Note, I haven't found a clean way (yet) to have more than one version running on the same workstation at the same time. The changes to the mount table take effect immediately even to already existing processes preventing me from starting session 1 with b19 and session 2 with b20 as session 1 will then point to the b20 directory structure. Let me know if you need help. == - \\||// -------------o0O0--Earnie--0O0o-------------- -- earnie_boyd AT yahoo DOT com -- -- http://www.freeyellow.com/members5/gw32 -- ----------------ooo0O--O0ooo----------------- PS: Newbie's, you should visit my page. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
