I was able to compile gdb 4.17 under the Cygwin32 environment. But I cannot step into the template either. The same senario happens: the debugger prints out '0x???? in LMxx().' This is really strange. It seems to me that the building process for gdb 4.17 was not complete. After generating gdb(.exe) the make program reports: make[3]: Nothing to be done for `all'. make[2]: Circular vasprintf.o <- config.h dependency dropped. make[2]: Circular random.o <- config.h dependency dropped. Then it bails out. Any idea? Thanks. -- Xiaomao ================================================================= Xiaomao (Mark) Xiao E-Mail: xiao AT cmold DOT com C-MOLD TEL: (607) 257-4949 x 699 31 Dutch Mill Road FAX: (607) 257-6355 Ithaca, NY 14850 URL: http://www.cmold.com ================================================================= - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
