glBindTextures(...) and glGenTextures(...) functions are
lacking from the SGI DLL export library representation: libopengl32.a

To fix this discrepancy:

1.  acquire opengl32.def
2.  add two lines:  glBindTextures AT 8, glGenTextures AT 8
3.  run: dlltool -k --def opengl32.def --dllname opengl32.dll
--output-lib libopengl32.a
