From: dph-man AT iName DOT com (Peter Hawkins) Subject: Newbie question - is it possible to use anonymous unions within structs? 2 May 1998 04:43:26 -0700 Message-ID: <354AED1A.98061556.cygnus.gnu-win32@iname.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com Hi there... Many Win32 API structures contain constructs like: typedef struct { int foo; union { int bar; int foobar; }; } thestruct; Is it possible to use such constructs under GCC? It makes it extremely difficult to compile windows programs which use certain APIs if not... (eg. mmsystem, ddraw, etc.) :-( TIA, Peter - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
