What gives? If I swap the *~ and *.web parts, it works fine! If I run it in b18.x it also works fine... 2) the make tool included with b19 doesn't make lines that include cp *.gif ... These problems make me feel like there's a problem with wildcards in b19 somewhere - any hints? 3) whoami reads from the list of windows nt users, not from my /etc/passwd file - can i stop that? BTW my system is Win NT v 4 with servicepack 3, running b19.1 cygwin thanks -- john .................................................. john kemp kemp AT eease DOT com software engineer employease inc. http://www.eease.com - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
