From: afn06760 AT afn DOT org Subject: mingw32/crtdll.dll version of lynx uploaded to deninc.com 15 Mar 1998 15:53:18 -0800 Message-ID: <199803150034.AAA72590.cygnus.gnu-win32@out5.ibm.net> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit To: gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com A MINGW32/crtdll.dll version of lynx.exe that was configured and made using cygwinb19 has been uploaded to ftp://ftp.deninc.com/incoming. This crtdll version of lynx has all-new code for using Windows threads in place of Unix fork(), and has been corrected for the MINGW32 putchar('\n') problem in which gcc only puts out '\n' rather than the "\r\n" that is required for Windows. If deninc.com copies both lynx.exe.gz and lynx.exe.gz.2 to their ports directory, I recommend the .2 version which is obviously newer and has a few more bug corrections that make using lynx much better. - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
