From: Sven_Dietrich AT trimble DOT com (Sven Dietrich) Subject: GCC -pipe 19 Feb 1998 17:04:57 -0800 Message-ID: <69A62D0B25F3D0118A3800A0C9661F23A83F8B.cygnus.gnu-win32@US01XCH02.Trimble.COM> To: gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com Does the -pipe parameter work? I realize Unix pipes are a little different... NTP uses this by default, but apparently there is no output from the preprocessor when using -pipe, so the compiler happily compiles *nothing* without warning or error, and produces no output.... I have removed this parameter from the makefile and immediately got all my happy and familiar warnings... Anyone else run into this before? Thanks.
