From: vischne AT ibm DOT net Subject: Latest libslang undertakes cygwin and ming support 13 Feb 1998 00:45:54 -0800 Message-ID: <199802121845.SAA105710.cygnus.gnu-win32@out5.ibm.net> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit To: gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com It may soon not be necessary to post a separate version of libslang to ftp.deninc.com. John Davis's latest libslang1.0.3.tar.gz is a nearly-perfect job of making a Win32 implementation of libslang, complete with separate makefile for the Win32 version. It is also possible to compile it under cygwin as a Unix libslang, and it will work, but not as well, owing to the present state of the cygwin.dll Linux display emulation.
