This is probably a FAQ, but to set the GNU win-32 variables in Win95 you will 
have to change your AUTOEXEC.BAT, or use a specific batch (.BAT) file every 
time you want to run a Cygnus GNU Win32 program.

The solution provided by "Silas S. Brown" <silasbrown AT bigfoot DOT com> is excellent 
for Windows NT.
