From: sven AT brem DOT de (Sven Brueggemann) Subject: .bashrc 19 Sep 1997 10:39:27 -0700 Message-ID: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com When I say PS1='$PWD>' at the bash prompt, everything works as expected. Using the same command in .bashrc alters the prompt but does not move the cursor to the first character after the prompt. Instead, bash places the cursor in column 1. B18, latest coolview. Any ideas? - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
