building perl i ran across the following:

% gcc --print-file-name=crt0.o

produces (GCC_EXEC_PREFIX is /usr/local/H-i386-cygwin32/lib/gcc-lib/ here):

/usr/local/H-i386-cygwin32/lib/gcc-lib/i386-cygwin32\cygnus-2.7.2-970404\../.. 
/../../i386-cygwin32\lib\crt0.o

note the backslashes. is it a bug in gcc itself or in cygwin.dll?
