The syscalls.cc file (function stat_worker) contains the following lines:

	  || strcasecmp (win32_name + len - 4, ".exe")))
    {

      win32_name = tmp;
      atts = GetFileAttributesA (tmp);
    }

I don't know - is this code needed or not.
