From: cr4 AT doc DOT ic DOT ac DOT uk ("Chris Roberts") Subject: Gnu-win's dirent.h 16 Jul 1997 18:09:24 -0700 Approved: cygnus DOT gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com Distribution: cygnus Message-ID: X-Mailer: Mail User's Shell (7.2.5 10/14/92) Original-To: gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com Original-Sender: owner-gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com I am trying to port freeWAIS-sf to NT, from the UNIX distribution. Your Bash shell works fine, but WAIS makes use of directory indexing. The compiler is complaining that telldir() and seekdir() do not exist. They seem to appear as stubs in your libc.a. Have they been implemented yet? Or is there anyway I could fudge it, since your Direntry_t type is not as complete as UNIX's. Cheers, Chris Roberts - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
