From: blroberts AT xactware DOT com (Barry Roberts) Subject: Bash keyboard buffer problem 21 Feb 1997 18:00:46 -0800 Approved: cygnus DOT gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com Distribution: cygnus Message-ID: X-Mailer: Novell GroupWise 4.1 Original-To: gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com Original-Sender: owner-gnu-win32 AT cygnus DOT com During the execution of a synchronous console command (like cp), if I press the up-arrow key for history, bash appears to be hung after the command finishes. Usually a couple of Ctrl+C's will print a couple of command prompts followed by '[A's, and then everything is fine. Using Ctrl+P does not cause a problem, only the up arrow. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a patch? Barry Roberts - For help on using this list, send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
