It is not possible to type two characters on a french keyboard : - The tilde ( AltGr + 2 ) - The backquote (AltGr + 3 ) Fortunately, others "special" characters like @ (AltGr + 0) are OK When editing a command line, the arrows keys <= and => produce spurious outputs when the key are left pressed (repeat mode). Perhaps there is a timing problem when processing the associated escape sequence...
