I think that it would be better to use some more stable environment for
learning c++. Cygwin is a BIT buggy for now, so some errors may confuse
you completly.
I suggest using DJGPP 2.0 if you want to stay with DOS, or linux/gcc
if you want to have un*x possibilities.
