Good catch.  That probably was just cargo-culted from the previous
packager by me, I certainly don't remember to have added this
consciously… oh, that happened in the update to version 1.0.2a in 2015.
Why it was specifically added to the library and not just the binary
package I don't understand, but there might have been a good reason back
then.

Aye.  Plus openssl v1 should not be Base at all even if that was the
case.  I'll see to change the hint files soon.
